材料 : 份量: 1 人 Ingredients 1 person: 
2朵 (pcs) 曇花 The Epiphyllum
30 g 細豬展肉Pork Meat
3片(slices) 老薑 Old Ginger
600 ML清水 Water

醃料Sauce: 
少許 (QS) 鹽 Salt
少許 (QS) 生抽 Light Soy Sauce
少許 (QS) 油 Oil
少許 (QS) 粟粉 corn flour

做法 - Method
1. 去除花蕊，曇花撕條狀。，
Remove the stamens and tear the Epiphyllum into strip

2. 豬肉切絲，加醃料。
Meat into stripes , add the Sauce in 

3. 放1 片薑在水中。曇花放沸騰水中拖一下，即倒沖洗，備用。
Add 1 slice ginger in the water. Then, the epiphany in the boiling water for 5sec. Wash in cold water. Prepare to use

4. 放2 片薑片在600ML清水中。水沸騰，放肉絲，轉中火。
Put 2 slices ginger in 600ml water. Put meat into boiling water. Turn to medium heat

5. 水沸騰後，放曇花。滾約 3 分鐘便可。
When the water boiling again. Place the flower in. Boil for 3 minutes.

原產南非、墨西哥等地，熱带沙漠里的旱生性植物，屬附生性仙人掌科植物。

開花對温度的要求很高，只有濕度80%以上，温度在20-26℃之間她才盛開，
花期很短，通常在初夏或深秋時節， 5 至10月開花。

It has a short flowering period, usually in early summer or late autumn, from May to October. 

花大型，盛開時如碗口大，生於葉狀枝的邊缘，花重瓣、纯白色，花瓣披針形，花筒長 13 - 15 公分，較粗壯，外面具有帶紫色線裂，漸上成闊倒披針。

晚間九點至十二點之間開花盛放，開花的時候清香四溢。當花漸漸展開後，過1-2小時又慢慢地枯萎了，整個過程僅4至5 個小時左右。故有「曇花一現」之說。
