炒南豆 :
是「高級版」扁豆,正南豆是凌湖豆( 去年開始貨源少 )
有健脾化濕、利尿、去水腫、消暑解毒
南豆炒過更強利濕
不宜 : 氣虛生寒、怕冷人士
Fried South Bean :
It is a "premium version" of Lentils. South Bean is Linghu Bean ( supply is less starting fm last year)
It has spleen and dampness, diuretic, edema-removing, heat-relieving and detoxifying properties.
The effect of fried South Bean is stronger.
Not suitable: People with qi deficiency and cold
 
赤小豆:
又名飯赤豆,正宗是春灣豆,小粒,紅色較深;市面上很多店舖以大豆淺色的竹豆當赤小豆售買
富含澱粉,因此又被稱為「飯豆」,利潤腸、降血?、降血脂、治腳氣肢腫、水腫脹滿
不宜 : 消瘦人不宜服;尿頻人士
Adsuki beans :
Also known as rice red beans, the authentic is Chunwan beans, small grains, darker red; many shops on the market sell light bamboo beans as Adsuki beans.
It is rich in starch, so it is also called "rice beans".

生薏米和熟薏米 :
是同一種東西,生薏米未經炮製;熟薏米是生薏米經過炒熟,經炒熟過,
清熱程度較生薏米的低。
生、熟薏米一齊可利水滲濕、袪風濕、清熱,健脾,多人適合飲用。
不宜 :
1. 生薏米有清熱作用,過量或長期進食,會令到身體寒涼。尤其是脾胃差的人要慎用生薏米,
2. 多吃熟薏米會令便秘情況惡化。
3. 尿頻、虛寒體弱、大便燥結者。
4. 薏米性質滑利,孕婦慎用。
Semen Coicis and cooked barley:
It is the same thing, Semen Coicis is not prepared; cooked barley is Semen Coicis which is fried , the clearing the body heat is lower than Semen Coicis.
Semen Coicis and cooked barley have the same function to clear the humidity , dampness, rheumatism, heat, spleen, and many people are suitable for drinking.
Not suitable:
1. Semen Coicis has heat-clearing effect. Excessive or long-term eating will make the body cold. Especially those with poor spleen and stomach should be careful
2. Eating more cooked barley will make constipation worse.
3. Frequent urination, weakness and dry stools.
4. Barley is slippery in nature and should be used with caution by pregnant women.
 
云苓 :
是茯苓的一種,主要產自雲南地區;可以利水、降低血糖、心惊悸、寧心安神
Poria Cocos :
It is a kind of Poria, mainly produced in Yunnan area; it can benefit water, lower blood sugar, heart palpitations, and peace of mind.
 
粟米芯 :
清熱利尿

健脾開胃、宿食不化

麥芽 :
治食積不消,脘腹脹痛

冬瓜 :
性涼,潤肺生津,利尿消腫,清熱、消暑,解毒的功效;
冬瓜的皮對皮膚瘡有藥用、在減肥、消水腫、降血脂,適合有三高的人 .
不宜進食大量:
體虛、血壓低、容易拉肚子、腎功能不全
Winter melon:

材料(3人分量) – Ingredients (For 3 people):
15g 粟米芯 Maydis Spaoixes
15g 赤小豆 Adsiki Bean
15g 南豆 South bean
15g 雲苓 Poria cocos
15g 谷芽 Oryzae Fructus Germinatus
15g 麥芽 Hordeurn Vulgare L.
15g 生薏仁 Semen Coicis
15g 熟薏仁 Cooked Barley
15g 黃耆 Huang Astragalus
870g 連皮冬瓜 Winter melon with skin
2/3片 片糖 2/3 sliced Cane sugar
一角 陳皮1/3 slicedTangerinee Peel
 
方法 - Method :
1. 洗冬瓜, 留皮, 切一大塊
Wash winter melon, leave the skin, cut a large piece

 
2. 2 L 清水
2 L water

 
3. 放入材料, 陳皮
Put in all ingredients , tangerine peel

 
4. 水滾放冬瓜, 片糖中火
Put in the Winter Melon in the boiling water with cane sugar

 
5. 煲至冬瓜軟身便可
Cook until the winter melon is soft
